QCPD Empowers Residents Through Livelihood and Crime Prevention Program

QUEZON CITY, September 19, 2025 — In support of Acting Chief, PNP’s Focused Agenda and the ‘Allied’ Program of the Regional Director, NCRPO, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of PCOL RANDY GLENN SILVIO, through the District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD) led by PLTCOL ALLAN DOCYOGEN, OIC, DCADD, in collaboration with TESDA, conducted a Community Engagement through Livelihood Program at 9:00 AM on September 19, 2025, at Chico St. Barangay Hall, Brgy. Quirino 2A, Project 2, Quezon City.

The activity began with a short lecture on anti-criminality, followed by a liquid soap-making demonstration conducted by Mr. Jerome Ignacio of ITT TESDA. More or less 70 participants benefited from the program, which aimed to raise community awareness on crime prevention while equipping participants with practical livelihood skills to support their families and help reduce the risk of involvement in unlawful activities.

Furthermore, the PNP Hotline, QC Hotline, and the official QCPD Facebook page were amplified to help curb the spread of fake news and to ensure that the public receives accurate and reliable information from verified sources.

PCOL SILVIO said, “Kapag may kabuhayan, may pag-asa. At kapag may pag-asa, mas ligtas ang ating komunidad laban sa krimen. Sa pamamagitan ng ganitong programa, pinapakita ng QCPD na bukod sa pagpapanatili ng kapayapaan, nakatuon din kami sa pagpapatatag ng kabuhayan at seguridad ng bawat pamilyang Qcitizen.”
